Fantastic Mr Fox

After much pestering, i finally managed to get the boyf to take me to the cinema and was very excited when the only thing we could watch was Fantastic Mr Fox (I love stepping into the wierd and wonderful world of Roald Dahls stories, he is one of ur greatest story tellers). So when it came to this film i had very high expectations, while i loved the sarcastic tone that made me giggle and the animation that was so lovable i did miss the childish innocence of the original story and Quentin Blakes illustrations that aid the story to perfection. This adaptation was definately aimed at adults (American adults) and in this way it missed the mark, Fantastic Mr Fox is told by the cheeky English Mr Dahl and that is the way it should be left.
